DIY : Button-up Skirt

Sunglasses | DTLA
Lips | NYC Cinnamon Spice
Top | Fitted Hawaii Tee from the Boyfriend
Skirt | DIY Button-up Skirt
Shoes | H&M Combats

The boyfriend surprised me with super awesome tee from Fitted Hawaii! Seems like a simple laid-back tee from the front with the words "Aloha means hello", but on the back it has something that you would never expect. Which I love! Thank you boyfriend for this gift! He also got one for himself too :)

Check out the new DIY tutorial up on my Youtube channel Gold Blooded Killer! First one I've done in months! In this DIY tutorial, I'll be showing you how to turn a button-up shirt into a skirt - without sewing! For those who can't check out the video, I've posted the tutorial down below. I completely forgot to take actual photos when making the tutorial so I had to settle with these video stills. I know, terrible. Goodluck!

Check out DIY tutorial HERE

Take a button-up shirt and button the shirt to where it fits around your waist. Don't forget about the bottom buttons!

Tie the armsleeves around waist. Make sure the sleeves are snug, but not too tight.

Make sure the button-shirt lays flat and that all pleats and tucks are gone.

Begin rolling from the collar, outward and roll until desired length. Other method : Tuck top part of shirt inward without rolling. Roll until desired length

Tug and pull at the bottom half of the skirt to flatten down the rolled waistband.

I used a flannel button-up shirt with a crop top in this look

I love this look when I'm too lazy to wear anything constricting, or even when I don't feel like wearing the skirts I have! Enjoy!
